Recruiting and Coaching Requirements

Area Recruiter

Ø      Familiarity w/ KSYSA rules of participation and recruiting

Ø      Familiarity w/ KSHSAA rules of participation

Ø      Communication skills to recruit players for teams including discussions with former club coaches, high school coaches, parents, and players

Coach

Ø     Communication skills to explain strategies and individual training goals to players

Ø      Communication skills to explain team and individual goals to parents as needed

Ø      Ability to Assess individual skill strengths and weak

Ø      Knowledge to Plan and execute practices

Ø      Ability to Attend practices, games, and tournaments

Coach/Recruiter

Ø      Ability to Perform duties of Coach and Area Recruiter

Ø      Communication skills to assist players and parents explore college opportunities

Ø      Communication skills to promote players to college coaches to include making calls in behalf of players

Ø      Willing to Gather material and communicate information as needed by Administrative Manager

Trainer

Ø      Ability to Communicate with Coaches on training needs of individuals and team

Ø      Willing to Follow directions of Coaches

Ø      Willing to Demonstrate skills as needed

Ø      Ability to Attend practices

Ø      No travel
